In this episode, Dr. Matt Motil interviews digital marketer and consultant, Tucker Ferwerda.

He’s been in the business for around 4-5 years.

Let’s get started…

Special Guest Tucker Ferwerda

1. Introduction

Tucker has a family with his beautiful wife and baby girl.

He started in this business for his family, and so they can do what they want.

Tucker has been interviewed by millionaires and hired by millionaires!

His speciality is Facebook marketing.

2. When Did The Switch Flip “On” For You As An Entrepreneur?

Tucker found a journal of his that he wrote in when he was 6-years old.

He had written in the journal that he wanted to be a millionaire.

His family struggled a lot with finances when he was growing up.

Tucker made it a goal to always have his finances situated.

There’s just something that drives him to perfection, family relationships, and finances.

It’s personal, mental, and physical for Tucker. He’s all in!

At the age of 12, he would take up garbage cans for neighbors for 25 cents.

He was scared to pursue the uncertainty of an entrepreneur, and decided to go to college.

Tucker hated college!

He hates learning from people who aren’t where he wants to go.

Ever since Tucker listened to a podcast and heard of making 6-figures a month he has become obsessed with that concept.

3. How Do You Maintain Balance Between Work And Home? IS There Such A Thing?

Tucker has to do whatever is necessary in his job to be around for his wife and child.

He works Monday through Thursday, and gives himself Friday, Saturday and Sunday with the family.

It is hard!

4. What Is Your Definition Of Success?

It’s not about finances, it’s being happy while doing what you love!

5. What Is The Biggest Obstacle You Have Overcome Thus Far?

Tucker worked manual labor and hated it.

When he first got into marketing he worked for a company selling stuff in Sam’s Club/Costco/etc.

He was picked one of a few others to open a sales company.

In order to do this, Tucker and his family would have to move.

He was working 14-16 hour days.

It was just an awful experience from the start.

In a two week span, both him and his wife got into major car accidents, his wife totaling her car.

Decided his family wasn’t in the right mindset there, and they moved back.

They had to use coins to pay for the gas, and couldn’t even afford a hotel! They were forced to sleep on the mattress in the moving truck.

This was rock bottom for Tucker.

More information products.

To continue building his consulting.
